Sign permits are sometimes difficult to negotiate. ID enjoys a good working relationship with governing authorities and has a successful track record of representing customers’ aspirations. We have not alienated ourselves from municipalities by installing illegal signs nor are we involved in litigation against any municipality to fight billboard taxation.
We have engaged various specialty fabricators to suit the various individual requirements of our customers. Rather than attempting to fit customer requirements to a broad, high-overhead manufacturing model to suit all needs, we are able to engage quality fabricators who specialize in the unique aspects of the sign industry with lower overheads and shorter lead times. Personal oversight of the manufacturing process ensures specifications are followed and customer expectations are met or exceeded.
ID has excellent working relationships with a network of installation specialists across Canada. These installers are the same contractors used by the largest sign companies in Canada. They are formally trained, certified and insured and have a proven track record of performance..
Attractive lease rates for customers are a result of competitive in-house financing. We do not engage in third-party financing nor do we securitize our portfolio. Leasing affords our customers the opportunity to amortize sign costs over multiple budget years utilizing a competitive financial model.
Considering that our signs are leased and maintained under agreement, we have a vested interest in installing high-quality signs to minimize maintenance costs and the associated interruption to our customers’ business operations. The maintenance of signs is as important as any other aspect of your sign project. A sign that is half-lit is a detriment to your image and your business. Research shows that a typical customer will pass by your place of business a minimum of 3 times per month, on average. Our maintenance program strives to ensure that your sign is sending out the appropriate message to your audience every time it is encountered.
At one point, ID held responsibility for managing over 1,000 automotive dealers, (GM Canada, Nissan Canada and Saturn US). Effective communication and organizational skills were developed for this unprecedented challenge. As a custom-manufacturing business, inevitably, problems may arise. Customers expect that timely, effective resolution is the order of the day. ID does not have internal meetings to resolve issues- we devote our energy instead to simply get issues resolved.
